All Express Entry candidates are given a score out of 1,200, based on the four parts of the Comprehensive Ranking System formula:

➢ Skills transferability (including education and work experience – factors that when combined, result in better chances of being employed, and higher earnings)
➢ Additional points for those with a nomination from a province or territory, a valid job offer or a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate.

Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and requirements. For example, in a program stream, provinces and territories may target: students, business people, skilled workers, semi-skilled workers.
AIPP is restricted to, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland and Labrador provinces only. This is an employer-driven program designed to help employers in Atlantic Canada hire qualified candidates for jobs they have been unable to fill locally. To immigrate to Atlantic Canada through the pilot, you must be a recent graduate of a publicly funded institution in Atlantic Canada or a skilled worker who meets the program requirements.
The Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) is a point based immigrant visa program promoted by the province of Quebec to fulfill the labor shortage in Quebec. QSWP allows applicants to apply and get selected by the Quebec Immigration Department.

Live-in Caregiver
Live-in caregivers are individuals who are qualified to provide care for children, elderly persons or persons with disabilities in private homes without supervision. Live-in caregivers must live in the private home where they work in Canada. Starting November 30, 2014, caregivers will have access to two new pathways to permanent residence.
Who can be Sponsored?
If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada and at least 18 years old, you can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada. Your relatives can live, study and work in Canada if they become permanent residents.

2. Visit Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) TRV
A visitor visa (also called a temporary resident visa) is an official document that stick in your passport. It shows that you meet the requirements needed to enter Canada.
Eligibility
You must meet some basic requirements to get a visitor visa. You must:
• Have a valid travel document, like a passport
• Be in good health
• Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
• Convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country
• Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit
• Have enough money for your stay
- The amount of money you will need depends on how long you will stay and if you will stay in a hotel, or with friends or relatives.
You may also need a medical exam and letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.
How long you can stay?
Most visitors can stay for up to 6 months in Canada.
3. Work Visa (Work Permit)
The Canadian Work Permit Visa allows business people, permanent workers, temporary workers, students, and others to work in Canada. Typically, applicants need to have a job offer in hand in order to apply for a work permit visa. Most people need a work permit to work in Canada. If you need a work permit, you may be eligible for either an,
• Employer-specific work permit
An employer-specific work permit allows you to work according to the conditions on your work permit, which includes:
1. The name of the employer you can work for
2. How long you can work
3. The location where you can work (if applicable)
Before you apply for an employer-specific work permit, your employer must give you a copy of your employment contract with one of the following:
1. A copy of a labour market impact assessment (LMIA)
2. An offer of employment number (for LMIA-exempt workers)
• Employers can hire foreign workers through the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or the International Mobility Program.
• The Temporary Foreign Worker Program lets employers hire foreign workers to fill temporary labour and skill shortages. Employers need to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to hire through this program.
• The International Mobility Program lets employers hire foreign workers without the need of an LMIA. Exemptions from the LMIA process are available where there are reciprocal benefits for Canadians and other competitive advantages for Canada.
• Open work permit
An open work permit allows you to work for any employer in Canada, You can only get an open work permit in specific situations

4. Refusal Cases
If you get a letter in the mail from Canada Immigration advising you that your application for Canadian immigration was refused, do not panic! You do have options
How to appeal?
If your immigration case has been refused, there are two possible ways to appeal the decision;
01. Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) of the Immigration and Refugee Board
02. Federal Court of Canada (FCC)
To determine if your case is good for an appeal we have to first see the type of visa refusal. It is a good idea to appeal a decision if you or your legal adviser believe that the decision made by the immigration officer is incorrect. One can show that their decision wrong in Federal Courts of Canada.
How ever in a case of an application is made by permanent residents or refugees, the case can be directed to Immigration Appeal Division for consideration.

CANADA STUDENT VISA
The Canada Student visa program are for those who wants to study in Canada. Every year there are more than 230,000 international students who come to Canada to study. Canada ranks as among the best destination for international students offering a very affordable tuition fees and a great country to earn valuable international experience owing to its diverse and multi cultural community. A wide range of programs are available including
Business, Healthcare, Hospitality, Engineering, Computer programs and Skilled Trades. Intakes are in September, January and May.
Starting June 2014, international students enrolled in government recognized institutions will automatically be allowed to work part time for 20 hours per week during term time and full time during term break. In addition, under the Post Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP), students who finish a one year diploma will be eligible to apply for a one year open work permit. While those who finish a two year course will be eligible to apply for a three-year open work permit.
Furthermore, international students who obtained a one year work experience in a job under NOC Code 0, A and B maybe eligible to apply for Permanent Residence under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The PGWPP will allow international students to obtain the required work experience to qualify for the CEC thus making the Canada Student Visa program a very good investment as you will be able to earn globally recognized qualification and at the same time have the chance to stay in Canada permanently.
Documents Required for Admission & Visa Application:
